Founder
Brett Walton created VGChartz in the summer of 2005 as a way of collating all publicly available videogame sales data into one place. After reading engineering at Cambridge University, Brett landed a job at McLaren Racing in 2006 becoming part of the design team behind the World Championship winning MP4-23A car of 2008. During his time at Cambridge and McLaren, Brett created and developed VGChartz - growing the site from a few hundred hits per week back in 2005 to over 2.5 million hits per week in 2010. Two main factors are to thank for this growth - the move from simply collating public data in the early days to carrying out original and groundbreaking sales research today, and the addition of website features such as the forum, game database, news and social networking. In February 2009 Brett left his job at McLaren to become full-time CEO of VGChartz Ltd. In May 2010, Brett launched the VGChartz Network with gamrFeed becoming the flagship site for breaking news, interviews, features and editorials.

Senior Contributor
Gabriel Franco, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, is an industrial engineer who joined in as a member of VGChartz on November 20, 2007. His constant commitment for keeping up to date on all news guided him to this site in search for the latest about video game sales and he stayed on thanks to the positive environment and fresh information he found. By March 2008 he had become part of the VGChartz team and 8 months later, in September 2008 he was named Senior Editor for general news. His experience as a player traces back to his childhood years, when he discovered the Atari 2600 and was later impressed by the arrival of the NES. That's when Gabriel entered the thrilling world of videogames that he has made into his favorite. In his native country (Honduras) he created 'VideoTime', a weekly newspaper segment born on October 23, 2002, which has become very popular, along with the tournaments he organizes through it every year. His main hobbies outside videogames are: reading, playing soccer, cooking, watching anime, and listening to music.

Harry Monogenis (read all posts)
Harry Monogenis currently resides in Greece – he’s lived in the UK for over 14 years, however. Obviously, Harry’s into videogames. He’s obsessed with reporting on the latest gaming news, rumours and major announcements.
Harry started off writing for a gaming blog Gamer Syndrome, where he wrote for just over a year as a news writer and reviewer, establishing several contacts along the way and gaining an immense amount of experience in the industry.
He later joined the MaxConsole team. He again wrote as a writer and reviewer, but this time was able to create several giveaways and competitions with the collaborations of publishers and developers. He later left.
That’s when he joined the gamrFeed team as a news writer. While reporting, he ensures to steer clear of the “by-the-script-and-boring” typing, and instead opts to give something unique; something that’ll hopefully put a smile on readers’ faces – even if the news is just a demo being released.

Keith Sadler (read all posts)
Keith Sadler has been interested in writing and video games for most of his life. He found his way to GamrFeed since mid-July of 2010. He may most readily be found by typing 'kthsdlr' into Google. He is as many instances of this phrase as possible, making it easy for good people to find him. Although he was forced to be 'keithsadler' on PSN. (Come game with me!)
Keith believes most strongly in the universal health, well being, and happiness of everyone.
He likes reading, telling stories to girls at parties, and Chinese martial arts.
He dislikes marshmallows, math, and anyone who dislikes Batman.
His life work is to read all possible permutations of the English language and is well on his way. His favorite author is whomever he happens to be reading right then. (I'd like for everyone to read my articles. Thanks!)
Right now he is probably trying to experience something new. Keith was very active in the Boy Scouts and wishes he had more opportunities to adventure outdoors today.
Keith Sadler still hasn't played enough games.
Nicholas Taylor (read all posts)
Nicholas Taylor started gaming at a very early age, thanks mostly to his mother and Nintendo. Situated in Stockholm, Sweden, he continues to game vigourously even today. In 2007, he joined the ranks of VGChartz and after spending a great deal of time on the forums, he applied for a newswriter job in 2010. Since then, he spends most of his time on the site writing various news stories related to gaming, including stories that other members of the staff might not be able to cover, by drawing use of his fluency in Japanese. While still very young and fairly new to the business, he hopes that his strong enthusiasm and burning motivation will help him gain as much experience as possible.
