Rumor: Classic Disney Cartoons Viewable in Epic Mickey
During a roundtable for Epic Mickey, one of the journalists from GameXplain.com noticed something interesting from when the game's lead character was making his way through a 2D sidescrolling level. The character designer picked up a film reel called "Mickey and the Beanstalk." "Mickey and the Beanstalk" is a segment from the animated feature called Fun and Fancy Free which was released in 1947.
GameXplain asked Warren Spector, "Would Epic Mickey feature classic Mickey cartoons as unlockables for a younger audience that might not have experienced them before?" He responded that it would be a great idea but quickly said to move on to the next question. The journalists laughed at his answer and he said it wasn't a joke and they had to move on. Suspicious?
Adding classic cartoons to the game does sound very plausible since the cartoons would portray Mickey's "classic" side well and judging by Warren Spector's reaction, it just may be likely.

this would be very limited.... even if it's a dual DVD, there is just not enough space to put 30 quality disney cartoons on there, probably just bits of them.
