Super Street Fighter IV: New Characters on the Way?
There have been rumblings and mentionings by Capcom about potentially adding new characters as DLC for Super Street Fighter IV for quite some time now, but nothing seems to have really materialized so far. However, with the impending release of Super Street Fighter IV for arcades in Japan, something seems to have sprung up. The image below has been sourced from the Twitter account of Gootecks, a professional Street Fighter player in Japan, and as you can see it shows two new empty character slots, one on each side.

If you're wondering why they're blanked out, arcade games generally feature hidden characters that are only unlocked after a certain amount of matches have been played, or a certain amount of time has passed. Of course, this image COULD be Photoshopped, but in combination with this next picture, it seems genuine.

What you're seeing above is the picture of the Japanese arcade cabinet. Please direct your attention to the bottom, where it says "Here comes new challengers?!," lending even more probability to the rumor. Hopefully light will be shed on this story soon enough and if we're lucky, we can get two new characters to fight as.
Any particular characters you wish to see fill these two slots? Hit the comments.

It's not a rumor it was confirmed at Comic Con. The photo is real. It was taken by one of the play testers. How many characters hasn't been confirmed although the rumor is for 7 characters. Alex, Rolento, R.Mika, Elena, Karin, Q, and Hugo.
So that's how they're going to make up for selling the game at 40 bucks :P
Hope its R.Mika and Karin, but i hope this become a free DLC(Since is Capcom, this is rare...)
I think they should just hold those characters off and release Super Turbo... DLC characters just don't sit well with me, and, I'd rather just have Super Street Fighter IV, or Hyper Street Fighter IV.. whatever they may call it (with more than two characters, of course)...
This is weird for me... Usually, when I see games with DLC characters, I'm against it... And now, I know why. I don't like paying extra for content that was intended to be included in the game.. But, this has been out for so long...
Maybe I'll just shut the hell up and get it.
