Fallout: New Vegas - Teaser and a Autumn 2010 Release
Bethesda Softworks just confirmed Fallout: New Vegas for Autumn 2010, and while that is no release date, having a release quarter is nice already, wouldn't you say?
Along with this info Bathesda went on to mention that the game will be featured in lots of cover stories in magazines all over the world...
Not much is known about the game aside from the little bit of (rather expected and bolded) info given in their official Press Release (below) and the teaser.
FALLOUT®: NEW VEGAS™ SET FOR AUTUMN 2010 RELEASE
Official Teaser Trailer for Fallout: New Vegas Revealed Today
February 4, 2010 (London, UK) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced that Fallout®: New Vegas™, the next chapter in the critically-acclaimed Fallout franchise, will be available in Autumn 2010. The game is currently in development at Obsidian Entertainment for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and Games for Windows. The first trailer, which provides new insight into the game, is now available at fallout.bethsoft.com.
Fallout: New Vegas, the follow-up to Fallout® 3 – the 2008 Game of the Year – brings this beloved franchise to a location only Fallout could do justice: Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas takes all the action, humor, and post-apocalyptic grime and grit of this legendary series, and raises the stakes.

@Spedfrom
that slogan has been with the fallout universe since fallout 1 back in 1997, and every fallout game has that tagline somewhere in its opening.
fallout 1
fallout 2
fallout :tactic's
all on the PC
you should give them a try they are pretty fun.
on the PC the first 3 will run well even on pentium 2's you need a 32mb video card for tactic's an you processor need's to be 300 Mhz or higher, but low ram requirement's make these game's run pretty good on much older system's.
I don't think it will beat Mass Effect 2. New Vegas is a spin-off. What I really can't wait for is Fallout MMORPG.
Seriously though: Chris Avellone writing for the Fallout world using an engine that Obsidian can't screw up?
I have a new most anticipated game, ladies.
I wonder if the game will be as content heavy as fallout 3 was. We'll see.
this game will beat mass effect 2 !!!
and btw, if they fucked up the PS3 version, I will never forgive them.
MMMM this should be interesting? Vegas the only place in the wasteland that can still stay up and running?
and @richardhutnik, HA I thought the same thing....
Spedfrom, you are a moron. That has been the slogan for Fallout for 13 years. probably longer then you've been alive. Do some research before commenting. what did you think it was from anyways?
Orange eyes? That means the Helghast end up invading the world of Fallout? :-P
Trailer was pretty meh, nice to see the Jinroh survived the war at the end there.
@spedfrom:
Yeah, that's been the Fallout quote for a while now. A long, long while now.
Wow awesome,Helghast invaded earth..that guy even had red eyes.. and lookd behind him like soo many helghast pictures.. even with the flag!
War... war never changes?! Are you freaking kidding me? Get your own slogan!
@1337 Gamer
It's a completely different game. And FYI the DLC was worth every penny.
This is going to kick so much ass... and I wonder if they will throw in co-op this time around? How epic would that be?!
Awesome, I never expected New Vegas to be a fully functional city! This is going to be a huge change to the pace and setting of Fallout. I'm expecting this even more :D
