Modern Warfare 2 Already Being Played? (UPDATE 2)

Saw someone on my friends list playing it last saturday actually. So I'm not surprised.

I don't understand the super Hype arround this game.

I finished the Cod4: Modern Warfare (1) single player mode, and I hated that basic story. It was trully painfull finish this game (but I like to finish all the games that I buy).

Everybody tell me that it was one of the best FPS on the market, but I think the two best FPS on the market are Half:Life 2 (CS Source) in PC and Killzone 2 in consoles ... and they are the 2 best in many aspects: best AI, best storys best controls (for me of course) and in the case of Killzone 2, best graphics by faar.

This time I will pass this Modern Warfare 2, like I passed Word at War.

Lets see if this "biggest gaming event of the year" will be the GOTY 2009 and beat the trully BIG games of the year, like Uncharted 2.

The only people who are playing are the Developers and the Xbox Live team. :o

Meh. I get early copies often. Last time around with COD4, there was a private beta - closed - and there was a hands-on session in LA a few weeks ago.

I am prolly gonna get this early too. If not, that's cool - but last time I did.

If this game gets a higher average score than modern warfare 1, I will pursuit a random reviewer and plunge my arms into somewhere on him.
Modern warfare 1 is a very good game, but this will be the same with a few add-ons.
Stop messing around children. Guns are not the coolest thing in video-games.

it would be one seriously early on the shipment for someone to get there hands on the game. Could be the game has shipped already, and some naughty little GameStop employee took his home early. hrmmmm.... possible, but doubtful.

@ lostplanet: no reason to sell it off, as most review-preview builds / copies (if not all) are only playable on debugging systems, and not on regular consoles. There would be no point in selling them off.

Not possible at the moment. There is no own site for Modern Warfare 2 on Mygamercard yet. So Hkysk8r187 is the only one we know for sure.
(Well I found another one by accident...)

But I could give you a list with 55 Forza 3 players :-P
